Whitney & Rohan married in the historic town of Berrima, nestled in the lovely Southern Highlands, NSW. Their romantic garden themed wedding had a palette of whites and neutrals – with accents in blush and muted caramels that played off the sandstone at Saint Francis Xavier, Berrima, and the warm wooden ceilings of Bendooley Estate’s Book Barn.
Whitney looked like royalty with her lace sleeve Abbey Bridal and Rohan channelling James Bond feel, with his black ensemble from Suit Supply.
The bridal party enjoyed their espresso martinis while their guests were greeted by delicious canapés of oysters & rosé as they looked over the lake of Bendooley.
Photos of the bridal party were taken against the many rolling hills, vineyards, pine trees and vine-draped walls of this phenomenal property. As the sun set the guests made their way back to the book barn reception, eagerly waiting for the bridal partys arrival while they finished up sunset photos by the lake.
The Book Barn which has vintage books along the walls was transformed by the team at Visually Creative into a lush garden hide-away. Elevated centre-pieces of rambling flowers caught your eye as you entered the room with candles scattered amongst vases overflowing with flowers. Roses were also used, in loving memory of Whitney’s Nanna Rose.
Guests were treated with Bendooley’s signature share-plates (this is the option we recommend), music by XYDJ and spoiled by a late-night dessert station in-between dancing. What a day!
